Job Overview


Due to our practice expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate out of hours veterinary Nurse to join our referral practice team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our hospitalised animal patients while supporting the team in delivering exceptional service. Duties



-Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments

-Perform diagnostic procedures (blood sampling, radiography, laboratory tests)

-Maintain accurate patient records throughout each shift

-Deliver exceptional inpatient nursing, including pain assessment, post-op care, and monitoring

-Liaise with the OOH veterinarian.

Experience


- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment is advantageous

- Previous experience of similar role is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and pet owners.
- A compassionate approach towards animals and their owners is crucial for success in this role.
