Dafne Veterinary Hospital

is looking for a permanent Full-Time RVN to join our team.

We are a friendly, family run purpose built small animal practice looking for an enthusiastic RVN to join us. As an approved PSS Hospital and Emergency Service Clinic we have state of the art brand new equipment including X-Rays, Ultrasound, Endoscopy and Orthopedic equipment, alongside purpose built theatres and kennel wards.

We also have a busy case load including referrals from surrounding practices.

Full time positions - 40 Hours per week split over 4 days and 1:5 weekends.

Working hours between Monday - Friday 8.30 - 6.30pm and Saturdays 8.30 - 12.30pm.

OOH 1:5 weekends Weekends paid as Overtime/On call standing fee. 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays. CPD encouraged with unlimited funding!!! RCVS fees paid by company. 90%-100% discount for all staff's pets treatment. Work based pension scheme available for all staff. Birthday Bonus

Essential Criteria

: Fully registered RVN with the RCVS and live within a 20 mile radius of the practice

Desirable Criteria

: Certificate holder in a specific field e.g. ECC, have a least 2 years experience as an RVN and prior experience in a busy practice.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of veterinarians. Utilize veterinary and laboratory experience to assist in medical procedures. Communicate effectively with pet owners and veterinary team members. Adhere to RCVS guidelines and maintain accurate medical records. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized veterinary clinic environment. Continuously develop skills and knowledge in the veterinary field
Must be passionate, enthusiastic and hard working to provide gold standard patient care, and be able to multitask efficiently with a keen attention to detail.
