We are looking for a qualified nurse to join our inclusive family-feel team. Here at South Shields, we pride ourselves on patient care, customer service and team wellbeing, and strongly believe that investing in your colleagues creates value and purpose.


We currently have 5 experienced vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 1 VCA & 5 CCAs and would love the opportunity to welcome a new nurse to the team.


The practice itself has been established for 17 years and is lucky enough to have a very lovely, loyal, client base. We are committed to providing a positive experience for clients and their pets.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Either a newly qualified or experienced RVN. You must be confident and enjoy dealing with clients. Professionalism and empathy are a must. This is ideally a full-time role but happy to discuss part time as we know the importance of maintaining a healthy work/life balance. You will be highly motivated with an enthusiasm to learn. We are happy to encourage and support clinical interests with a CPD allowance. You must be a team player.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

Competitive salary up to 31,500 (FTE) depending on your experience A supportive, experienced team No OOH, 1 in 4 Saturday rota. 5.6 weeks holiday which will extend to 6.6 weeks after 2 years' service. An additional day off for your birthday after 1 years' service. Regular nurse meetings to discuss protocols, new products and cases. Full team meetings to ensure effective communication throughout.
