Regulatory Analyst (policy, economics, pricing, finance)

I am recruiting for a Regulatory Analyst (policy, economics, pricing, finance) for an energy tech business.

The Regulatory Analyst will report to the Senior Regulatory Finance Manager and will provide general pricing support and analysis, review and implement charging policy changes and support in the management of external stakeholders. You will:

• Lead in the delivery and improvement of regulatory deliverables, including: the Charging Statement; Indicative Charging Statement; and Indicative Budget publications.
• Management of the explicit charges revenue forecast, including development of new explicit charges in the future.
• Management of key external stakeholder relationships regarding costs and/or charges including the regular Finance Updates for Customers eg energy suppliers, government, Ofgem, Alt HAN, SECCo.
• Support in the management of \'other costs\', including pass-through costs and regulated incentives/disincentives.

You will:

• Experience of working in an economics / policy / finance role
• Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
• Highly numerate with the ability to complete complex analysis, evaluate these, and present findings to colleagues and external stakeholders in a simple way
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team and build relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of working in a regulated environment (either for a regulator or a regulated organisation)
• Experience of working in the energy, government, or telecommunications sectors
