This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, sharing knowledge, and working with care and attention to detail. You'll be supporting the delivery of regulatory compliance across E.ON Next, helping ensure our customers are treated fairly and our work stays grounded in integrity. You'll collaborate with teams across the business and report into our Regulation Compliance Lead, playing a key part in shaping a culture of trust and transparency.
Here's a taste of what you'll be doing

• Providing thoughtful, accessible interpretations of complex regulation (like Ofgem Licence Conditions, GDPR, Ofcom, ASA, CAP & BCAP codes).
• Partnering with colleagues to explore risks and develop meaningful, people-focused solutions.
• Supporting the wider business by offering consistent and clear regulatory guidance.
• Helping build awareness of regulatory topics through collaboration, education, and shared understanding.
• Supporting the drafting of responses to inquiries, consultations and policy changes--ensuring they reflect our voice and values.
• Building warm, professional relationships with key external stakeholders including Ofgem, DESNZ, and Citizens Advice.
• Working alongside the Regulation Compliance Lead to analyse regulatory change and identify its impact on the business.
• Championing a positive compliance culture by being a trusted voice and problem-solving partner across the organisation.

It would be great if you had:

• Experience in or familiarity with retail energy, compliance, regulation or policy.
• Knowledge of key stakeholders such as Ofgem, DESNZ, Energy UK or Citizens Advice.
• Exposure to compliance areas like data privacy, advertising standards, or consumer rights.
• A curious and open mindset with a love of learning and sharing knowledge.
• A proactive approach to teamwork--willing to lend a hand, ask questions and offer ideas.
• Confidence in using data or evidence to inform decisions and recommendations.
• Comfort working across departments, balancing multiple priorities thoughtfully.
• A passion for doing work that has a positive, real-world impact.
