The client is a gentleman based in the Bristol area. He has an acquired brain injury who lives at home with his wife. The client loves going out for walks and having lunch somewhere - he loves people's company and having someone to chat to.

This role requires providing support with all aspects of the clients daily living within the home and community-based rehabilitation. You will be supporting clients within the local community to promote their independence and enable them to reach their goals and aspirations.

FULL client specific training will be provided to all support workers.

Hours Available:

We have 2 day shifts available totalling 16 hours, we may be able to find extra hours elsewhere if needed.

Wednesday - 09:00-17:00

Thursday - 09:00-17:00

Support tasks and responsibilities may include:

Assisting with the clients rehabilitation programmes

Supporting with the completion of daily living tasks such as daily planning, meal planning and preparation to follow the clients dietary requirements

To enable the client to fulfil their goals and aspirations

There may be some personal care required

We are looking for experienced support workers who are motivated and reliable with the passion for enabling rehabilitation and progression along with providing evolving support to empower clients to reach their goals, aspirations and potential. The client has worked very hard on his rehabilitation programme and is looking for more than just a support worker, but somebody to share his interests with. An eclectic interest in music would be advantageous on building a positive working relationship. You will be part of a positive and committed team, working alongside a team of other rehabilitation assistants.

The chosen individuals will be enthusiastic, reliable and self - motivated. We also require a clean driving license and a minimum of 6 months health and social care experience.
