As a Relief Care Worker with CrossReach, you will support older people to live with dignity, comfort and enjoyment. You will step in when needed to provide person centred care and help maintain a warm, safe environment where everyone feels valued. This flexible role is ideal if you want to build experience, return to care work or work around your own schedule.

What Your Day Could Involve

Supporting service users with personal and intimate care Assisting with mobility aids and personal equipment Promoting physical and mental wellbeing through meaningful activities Keeping the home safe, clean and comfortable Responding to emergencies and working with health professionals

About You

You are kind, patient and dependable, with a genuine wish to support older people. You respect CrossReach's Christian ethos and are comfortable working within it. Ideally, you hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or are willing to work towards it. You will also need basic computer skills, SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
