RELIEF COOK (To cover for annual leave and sickness)

The Institute of Our Lady of Mercy strives to be of service to the poor, sick and disadvantaged. We do this through a variety of ministries including education, nursing, providing women's outreach services, chaplaincies and providing high quality care homes for the elderly. St Bernard's Convent is a religious community of Sisters of Mercy, part of the Institute of Our Lady of Mercy.
You will play a key role within the Convent and will be responsible for delivering a flexible catering service. You will work closely with your line manager to ensure the catering needs of the Sisters are fully met whilst adhering to the guidelines and regulations of the Environmental Health Department and Food Standards Agency. You will prepare and cook food that will help facilitate a healthy balanced diet, presented in an appetising way to encourage an enjoyable eating experience.

Cook 14.26 - 18.44 per hour
Relief Hours to cover for leave and sickness and will include weekend cover

You will have:
Food Hygiene Certificate or be prepared to work towards it
Experience of preparing and cooking nutritious meals
Willingness to work above or beyond to maintain our high standards
