Remote Operations & Marketing Assistant (Part-Time, School Hours)



Pay:

13.00 - 14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours:

20 hours per week - Monday to Thursday, 9:30am - 3:00pm (with 30-minute unpaid break)

Location:

Remote (laptop and mobile provided)

Travel:

Must be able to travel to the Loughborough (LE11) area for initial induction training and occasional team meetings.

With steady growth, we're now looking for a part-time Remote Assistant to help us manage day-to-day operations, customer care, and marketing.

The Role



You'll play a key part in keeping our business running smoothly by:

Customer Service & Admin



Answering inbound calls (mainly new/existing quote enquiries) using our VOIP system. Issuing invoices and following up on payments via our online system. Monitoring emails - unsubscribing/blocking spam, replying to booking requests, flagging important/urgent items. Contacting customers to schedule jobs.

Operations Support



Chasing suppliers and council applications. Checking daily team checklists and risk assessments are complete. Creating weekly reports (reviews gained, breakages, job satisfaction, etc.) and recognition shoutouts. Helping improve and tidy up repeatable systems for team management.

Marketing & Digital



Updating our website and social media with content from team photos/WhatsApp updates. Monitoring Google Ads spend and keywords.

About You



We're looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with great attention to detail. Confident using online systems (training provided on our specific platforms). Friendly and professional on the phone. Able to work independently and take initiative. Comfortable with light marketing tasks (posting updates, basic website edits).

Experience in admin, customer service or marketing support is highly desirable.


Must be able to travel to the Loughborough (LE11) area for induction training and occasional team meetings.
