Role of the Remote Patient Coordinator
We are looking for a Remote Patient Coordinator to manage inbound calls and provide support to patients across our dental practices. The role requires a patient-focused individual who can handle patient queries, reschedule appointments, book recalls, assist with treatment queries, and help close treatment plans. Our in-practice reception teams will focus on face-to-face patient care, while you ensure exceptional service is delivered over the phone.
As we are open 7 days a week, this is a full-time role where you will be rota'd to work across the week with your team to ensure full coverage. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings may be required as part of the rota.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Call Management: Handle incoming calls from patients, ensuring each query is addressed efficiently and with exceptional care.
Patient Support: Assist patients with rescheduling appointments, booking recalls, and helping with general queries about treatments, transport links, parking, etc.
Treatment Coordination: Provide information and support to patients regarding treatment plans, helping to close them where necessary including deciphering payment plans and explaining finance.
Query Resolution: Take ownership of patient queries, ensuring no issue is passed on unnecessarily. Your ability to resolve queries on the first contact is key.
Customer Service Excellence: Always deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that patients feel supported, heard, and well-informed.
Practice Knowledge: Retain detailed knowledge of all Banning Dental Group practices, including team members, locations, treatments, and logistical information (e.g., transport links and parking).

Previous Dental Experience - Prior experience in a dental setting, demonstrating an understanding of dental procedures and terminology. Ideal for a previous Practice Manager, Dental Nurse, or Treatment Coordinator.
Team Player - Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve common goals and enhance the patient experience.
Proactive Approach - Initiative to anticipate patient needs and proactively address any concerns or questions.
