Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable removals Porter to join our team, who will be assisting in moving household or office furniture and other items from one location to another. The role is physically demanding and involves a variety of tasks related to packing, loading, and unloading belongings.

The successful applicant must be friendly, have communication skills, professional attitude, be approachable and support our clients and staff effectively.

Responsibilities

Moving furniture, appliances, packages, or other items for individuals or businesses. Assisting with domestic and commercial house or office moves. Assist with the movement of goods, luggage, or equipment around the site using appropriate manual handling techniques or vehicles. Loading/ Unloading: Physically moving items into and out of the van. Ensure the Van is clean and tidy Provide assistance to the driver courteously, helping with directions and parking in tight spots. Maintain safety standards by ensuring walkways and work areas are free from hazards. Support team members Operate company vehicles responsibly if required for transportation duties. Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

Must have the right documents to work in the UK Must be able to communicate in English Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues alike. A Valid driving licence with a clean driving record. (Preferred but not essential) Be local or able to travel to pick up point Be able to speak more than one language. (Preferred but not essential)
