Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Renewables Manager to lead our team .

The Renewables Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of renewable energy projects across residential, commercial, and/or public sector portfolios. This role involves managing installations (e.g., solar PV, heat pumps, energy storage), ensuring compliance with all industry standards, and driving growth in the renewable energy arm of the business, whilst driving operational excellence within the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities .

This role requires a proactive approach to time management and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience managing renewable energy projects, ideally in solar PV, battery storage, or heat pumps. Oversee site assessments, technical feasibility studies, and system designs. Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors to deliver installations safely, on time, and within budget. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, funding schemes, and certifications (e.g., MCS, RECC, PAS2035). Ensure all installations comply with health, safety, and environmental policies. Build relationships with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders in the renewable energy sector. Support the commercial team in preparing proposals, tenders, and technical documents. Track project performance using KPIs, generate regular reports, and suggest areas for improvement. Contribute to business development through technical input and strategic insight into market opportunities. Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership qualities, with a focus on team collaboration and motivation. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
