The Rental Controller position is a fast-paced role that involves taking ownership of the rental department within Midland Materials Handling. The role will involve arranging trucks available, issuing rental contracts to customers, taking and dealing with customer calls, arranging transport for delivery to site. The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a busy office environment, ideally within the MHE industry.
Key duties
Responsible for any rental enquiries received through, handling these in a professional and efficient manner
Working alongside other departments to assist with rentals when required
Liaising with customers regarding their requirements and allocating trucks effectively
Creating rental contracts for customers
Arranging transport bookings
Liaising with our Workshop to arrange off hire checks are completed
Raising quotations for any damages/repairs
Keeping check of rental fleet service and LOLER schedules to ensure equipment is safe and compliant
Work collaboratively with other departments in the business
Undertake any additional tasks as reasonably required
