About the role




Are you an experienced and motivated contracts professional with a passion for delivering quality repairs services?


We're looking for a Repairs Contracts Manager to take ownership of the performance, quality, and compliance of our external contractors ensuring our residents receive an efficient, value-for-money service every time.


This is a key leadership role within our Homes and Neighbourhoods team, overseeing multi-million-pound repairs contracts and leading a team of Contract Works Supervisors. You'll be the main link between Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) and our contractors, managing relationships, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement across all responsive and void repairs.

Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:



Has proven experience managing high-value contracts and contractor performance, ideally within social housing or construction. Understands contract administration, budget management, and performance monitoring frameworks (including KPIs and SORs). Is a confident communicator and negotiator, able to build strong relationships and challenge constructively to achieve best value. Is organised, analytical, and proactive in identifying risks, resolving issues, and improving service delivery. Demonstrates strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and support a high-performing team.
