London Fire Solutions is a specialist contractor working in

passive fire protection

, and we're looking for 3-4 skilled

Painter & Decorators

to join our site team. You'll be carrying out important work to help maintain and enhance the fire safety of buildings, including decorating and upgrading fire doors.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Select appropriate materials and colours based on client preferences and project requirements. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and within set deadlines. Communicate with clients to understand their vision and provide professional advice on colour schemes and finishes. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Keep work areas clean and organised throughout the duration of each project.

About you

Proven experience as a

painter/decorator

, ideally in a construction or maintenance setting Ability to prep, sand, fill, and paint to a clean, professional finish Good understanding of working in live environments (tidy, respectful, and organised) Attention to detail and a sense of pride in your work CSCS card (
