An opportunity exists to support this dynamic organization as a Data Analyst in the Disney Financial Systems team based in London, UK. Specifically, this role will work with colleagues and senior business stakeholders across the accounting, planning, and reporting functions in the EMEA region, and colleagues in teams supporting financial reporting systems at a global level.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

Process Support, Process Improvement and Governance

Provide support to users of SAP HANA and BW data sources via SAP Analysis for Office in Excel and other BI tools

Liaise with global support teams regarding any issues relating to SAP HANA views

Assist other groups within the EMEA Disney Financial Systems team on adhoc support queries ensuring SAP is meeting users\xe2\x80\x99 accounting and reporting needs

Support accounting teams with solutions to challenging reporting issues; look for more effective ways of delivering the information users need

Manage incident management tool, create, track, resolve, and close service requests to the customer\xe2\x80\x99s satisfaction

Maintain documentation of process best practices for technical troubleshooting

Project Management

Lead small-scale projects or relevant workstreams of a larger project.

Interact with IT, other departments and subject matter experts to support implementations and enhancements

Execute project activities to ensure project progress is on schedule

Effectively communicate with management, stakeholders, subject matter experts and project team members on project status and action items

Perform and/or facilitate System Integration and User Acceptance tests

Provide end user training where required

Communication

Respond promptly to, and as far as possible take ownership of, technical problems raised by end users, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution that meets or exceeds user\xe2\x80\x99s expectations

Concisely develop and deliver key information; able to develop small-scale presentations, communications and training

Convey relevant information in a timely and concise manner

The Experience We Require From You:

Experienced user of the SAP Analysis for Office Excel add-in for financial analysis and management reporting, ideally with connectivity to both BW and SAP HANA data sources

Sound knowledge of Excel VBA scripting (writing new code as well as adapting existing code)

Comfortable working with large data files

Sound experience as an end-user of the SAP FI module

An accounting background preferred, or solid understanding of basic accounting concepts and processes

Participation in formal change management processes

Experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
