We are looking for a proactive and organised Research Administrator to join the GenOMICC team within the Baillie Gifford Pandemic Science Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient delivery of a large-scale, multi-site clinical research study at the forefront of global health.
This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The Opportunity:
You will support the day-to-day coordination of the GenOMICC study and other related projects, working closely with clinicians, researchers and support staff across the UK. You will manage core administrative processes, coordinate logistics, maintain accurate records, and contribute to improving operational systems. The role sits within a dynamic and collaborative environment focused on accelerating therapeutic innovation.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Educated to degree level OR
Equivalent in education, training or experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience of working in an administrative role with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond flexibly to changing priorities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively, form strong relationships and work confidently with a range of stakeholders from multi-disciplinary backgrounds
