Working with the Head of Research Contracts and the Admin Hub Manager (Ops Manager), you would contribute to the strategic and operational development of the team by being involved in the creation, improvement and management processes, automation, administration, and operational procedures. You will often serve as the 'front door' ensuring the customers receive a high-quality, streamlined and consistent service and acting as the main point of contact for team operational aspects, the role holder will also represent the team at events, and manage and organise team communications, training, and knowledge management activity.

What will you be doing?

You will play a key role in the day-to-day operations and strategic development of the team via the medium of Knowlagent management, process improvement and automation and contribute to its overall success. Some duties may involve:
Learning and the latest in legal operations and technology and implementing/managing process improvements and automations
Create innovative working practices and be responsible for internal and external knowledge management.
Assist the Ops Manager in maintaining data and running metrics/prepare reports under the direction of the Head of Team/Ops Manager.
Engage with counterparts in other DREI and Faculty Teams to represent Research Contracts.
Be a key visible figure in customer relations and management.

We are looking for someone with energy, pro-activity, creativity and organisation that can work closely with the Head of Team as well as the team generally to be part of the team's evolution of continuous improvement. We are looking for someone with drive to engage in a constantly changing and fast-paced area of work that will help the Team manage and adapt processes as the regulatory landscape shifts.
The role will be a hybrid role.
You will be required to obtain Enhanced BPSS Clearance.
