About the role

The UCL School of Management is seeking a Research Technician who can provide advanced behaviour and technical support to researchers working on projects within the subject areas of Organisation & Innovation, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, Marketing & Analytics, and Operations & Technology. The post will have a priority responsibility to serve the School of Management Behavioural Research Lab.
The postholder will assist Professors, Associate Professors and Lecturers at various stages of research projects, as well as the Behavioural Research Lab Manager with the participant pool recruitment and data collection phase of the research process.
This is a full-time position with a start date of November 2025.
Salary - UCL Grade 7 43,981 to 52,586 per annum (including London Allowance)

About you
-------------
The successful candidate will hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as social science, engineering, statistics, or computer science. They will have experience using both Python and R programming languages, including packages related to data collection and processing such as Pandas and Tidyverse, as well as experience with web development programming (e.g. JavaScript) and managing large datasets comprising millions of rows of data.
In addition, they will demonstrate knowledge of business and management research methods, including behavioural experimentation and survey design. The role requires a high level of literacy and numeracy, along with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with students, academic and administrative staff, and external contacts at all levels.
