We're searching for a Reservation Agent with exceptional skills, experience, and a double shot of enthusiasm to do just that.
As a Welbecker you will play an integral role in ensuring each guest enjoys exceptional service.
Duties
Book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes
To ensure that all sales enquiries are dealt with in a proactive manner, and converted to confirmed bookings, to the agreed company standards
Understanding the business and keeping up to date with hotel's sales selling strategy and letting policy and promotions.
To ensure that all reservations are directly inputted onto the PMS computer system, and maintenance of an accurate filling system.
Ensure that no shows and cancellation charges are dealt with daily
To assist with growth and development of existing customers and corporate accounts through regular contact, meeting and greeting, follow up calls, etc.
All appropriate departments are to be informed of any guest special requirements/needs.
To ensure all rooming lists are received no later than two weeks prior to arrival, and are entered correctly into hotel PMS.
Ensure all group bookings are listed on the groups tracker and updated ongoing
Manager collateral so that all brochures, packages and information is up to date and readily available
Process prompt payments of deposits to ensure advanced purchase bookings are charged
Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up
Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
Perform other duties as assigned including guest room tours, concierge services, special guest requests, etc.
