Job Description

THE ROLE :
Architectural Technician to join a small team of experienced architectural colleagues, to assist with the production of working drawings on residential projects for national and regional developers throughout the UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES: --
- Assist design team to develop technical drawing packages for residential schemes .
- Create detailed 2D plans and details using AutoCAD software.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and material selections.
- Collaborate with engineers and other design professionals to deliver a coordinated and compliant scheme to the client. -
- Liaise with Building Control and other approval bodies for discharge of technical conditions.
- Review project requirements and provide input on design feasibility and constructability.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- A degree in Architectural Technology, or an equivalent UK recognised qualification.
- Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD (essential) and Revit software (beneficial).
- Architectural Technician with approximately minimum 5 years of industry experience. - Strong cad skills to produce a good standard of well-presented technical drawings.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team members and clients.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work independently, or as part of a team.

A salary of 25,000-35,000 is on offer dependent on experience.
