We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong communication skills. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, monitoring progress and reporting any changes.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on client status.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring they arrive safely.
Maintain a clean and organised living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
Document care provided and any relevant observations in accordance with company policies.
Skills
Experience working with children is highly desirable.
Strong childcare skills to engage and support young clients effectively.
Proficiency in IT to manage documentation and communicate with team members efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed.
