Right now, we are looking for a registered manager who will also be the nominated individual to join our friendly team promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care. This care home offers personalised residential care and specialist dementia care to its residents.

St Margaret's located in Sidcup with 22 beds majority with en-suites. We are a residential dementia home with early stage nursing and end of life care. We are in need of an experienced registered care manager to take leadership and direct our very competent and committed staff members. You should live within 10 miles of the home, own a car and be as flexible as possible. We offer comfortable working conditions with full support from the provider. You must be able to build relationships with the staff and all our external stakeholders. Your knowledge of the CQC should be completely up to date.

We are looking for an experienced manager that can demonstrate that they can successfully lead a team focussing on providing a high quality of person-centred care in line with the CQC regulations, supporting and developing the team you're leading.

What are we looking for:



NVQ Level 5 qualified

Genuine passion for elderly care.

Proven track record of Good or Outstanding CQC reports.

5 years of Management Experience in a dementia residential care home setting

Key responsibilities include:

You will be responsible for ensuring the very best person-centred care service is provided to our residents whilst promoting their interests and understanding their needs.

Strong understanding of safeguarding and compliance

You will effectively manage your staff, providing information, guidance and on-going supervision and support, recruiting and on boarding new staff and continually develop and encourage your team

You will continually ensure that company's business objectives and the Care Quality Commission compliance criteria are met, by cultivating good working relationships with all your stakeholders and actively work in a collaborative way to ensure our service and care levels are outstanding

You will also be working closely with the Hospitality and Maintenance teams to ensure the best standards in the home's environment, including food presentation standards, housekeeping standards and the care and maintenance of residents' clothing and building

Develop and implement care plans for residents, ensuring their individual needs and preferences are met

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care, staff schedules, and facility operations

Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and residents to ensure effective communication and coordination of care

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in senior care, implementing changes as necessary to improve the quality of care provided

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

Have a proven track record in management and delivery of high-quality care within a residential dementia care setting

Proven experience of managing a care team, encouraging, leading and motivating others

Have excellent communication skills with a natural ability to lead, motivate and inspire your team

Passionate, driven, confident and resilient leader

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 55,000.00 per year
