Fairview Care & Support is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our dedicated team. This is a key leadership role, providing guidance to Support Workers while ensuring the highest quality of care for children and young people, many of whom present with emotional and behavioural challenges.

This position is ideal for an experienced Support Worker or Senior Support Worker who is ready to progress into a leadership role, or an established Team Leader seeking a rewarding new challenge.

Please note: We do not offer sponsorship for any of our roles.

About us:

At Fairview Care & Support, we provide compassionate, around-the-clock care for care-experienced children and young people, including unaccompanied asylum seekers. Whether in a children's residential home, semi-independent shared living, or solo placements, we're here to support young people aged 16 to 18 every step of the way -- whether they need short-term support or a more long-term home.

Our approach is rooted in kindness, respect, and empowerment. We believe young people should lead their own journey, and we're here to walk beside them -- helping them stay safe, make positive choices, and build a future they're proud of.

By keeping young people at the heart of everything we do, we aim to grow from our grassroots into a leading national provider of supported and independent living -- without ever losing our personal, people-first values.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a team of Support Workers to deliver exceptional care and support. Oversee the implementation and regular review of personalised care plans. Act as a key worker for young people, building trusted relationships and promoting emotional well-being. Coordinate daily routines, educational activities, and enrichment opportunities, including trips and holidays. Manage safeguarding concerns, incident reporting, and health & safety compliance, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practice. Maintain accurate records and ensure effective communication within the team and with external professionals. Support staff development through supervision, coaching, and performance feedback. Contribute to continuous service improvement and uphold organisational standards.

Professional Development:

Structured induction and ongoing professional training. Monthly supervision and regular opportunities to build leadership capability. Clear career progression pathways into senior management roles.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people in a residential or supported living setting (essential). Previous supervisory or mentoring experience (desirable). Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally. Sound understanding of safeguarding, equality, and regulatory compliance. Willingness to work a shift pattern, including sleep-ins. Must be 21+ due to regulations relating to work with minors.
