The Role:



We have an excellent opportunity for a Freelance Residential Childcare Trainer to deliver Apprenticeship programs to our learners. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a passion for teaching and developing their students to achieve their maximum potential. The role will entail seeing learners in their place of work and over Teams, and working with employers and our highly effective support teams to ensure no learner is left behind.

Key Duties:



Teach, deliver and assess Residential Childcare apprenticeships - Levels 4 and 5 within the workplace environment and over Teams, over a range of business settings. Follow quality procedures and processes, and internal and external funding requirements to ensure the timely progression of learners. Provide, collate and share relevant and updated materials to assist company-wide delivery. Liaise with Curriculum Leads to assess individual learner needs and implement appropriate learner responsive training, whilst developing further opportunities. Deploy a wide range of teaching and learner-centred learning strategies that ensure a) the most effective learning, achievement and progression b) the most effective use of teaching time and other resources to help learners achieve the required level of assessment. c) a positive impact on our business clients. Deliver and facilitate the teaching of maths and English Functional Skills. Maintain good relationships with the learner, their employers and the delivery team, working in unison to bring about efficient and effective completion of the apprenticeships. Complete all necessary documentation as required by the Company and contractual requirements including learner records, registers and reports.

Skills Needed:



Excellent curriculum knowledge of the Residential Childcare sector The ability to motivate learners through effective encouragement and critique Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Excellent English and maths skills Patience and adaptable approach for all types of learners A compassionate, friendly and approachable personality A good team player Organised and efficient Excellent diary and time management skills Excellent organisational and planning skills
