Athena Children's Services support children with social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs. We're looking for Residential Children's care workers who can create an environment where our children can really thrive. You'll make sure your team and our children feel happy, safe and motivated, so they can be the best they can be.

Compassionate, emotionally resilient, and supportive, you'll be an inspirational support to your team. You'll help the Team Leaders and Deputy Manager to plan and lead shifts, plan activities and make sure all the paperwork is up to date. You will have the training and development to build resilience and enable you to deal with challenging behaviour and you will build good communication skills. Ideally you will have the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) but if not we will fund and support you to achieve this. We will also give you additional outstanding training to help you do your best and develop in this sector. In return, you'll need to be happy to work flexible hours, including sleep-in duties, and have a full UK driving licence.
