Due to Ofsted requirements, the official job title refers to "children," although our service users are aged up to 18 and more accurately described as youth.

We are seeking dynamic, motivated Youth Mentors/Children's Residential Care Workers who are passionate about positively influencing the lives of young people in our care. Full training and qualifications are provided; however, the most important qualities we value are dedication, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

This role involves regular travel to and around Matlock and New Tupton, so the ability to commute reliably is essential.

As a Children's Residential Care Worker, you will:

Create and maintain a positive, supportive, and safe environment for young people. Promote the ethos and values of DNA Care Services at all times.

Work in accordance with Ofsted Regulations and the Quality Care Standards for Children's Homes.

Deliver high-quality residential childcare aligned with company policies and procedures.

Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager.

12-hour shifts: 08:00-20:00 or 20:00-08:00

Working days vary week to week

Sleep-in shifts may be required
