We are seeking suitably experienced and highly motivated staff for this new, exciting and progressive residential provision for children and young people with complex needs.

The home will accommodate children who have not had the best start in life, whose support requirements are such that it's difficult for them to live in a regular children's home provision.

Their support plan may require input from adolescent mental health services, youth justice or similar. They may be living with ADHD, high levels of anxiety, trauma and attachment issues, or be at risk of criminal or sexual exploitation. On occasion, keeping these young people safe may require their liberty to be restricted via DOLS orders.

Supporting such children through challenging situations is not easy, but things always get better and enabling them to reach that better place in their lives is extremely rewarding.

The Ideal candidate will have experience of working in stressful environments andor with children or adults who present with challenge behaviours. An ideal role for those with the resilience, maturity and commitment to making it work, real team players, motivated and level-headed individuals.

We are looking for candidates who have the ability champion the young person and 'see the child inside'. The work may not be for everybody, but it may be for you.
