We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancer to join our legal team in either Kirkintilloch or our Office in Milngavie. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing property transactions, ensuring smooth and efficient conveyancing processes for our clients and will handle their own caseload. Duties
Managing the end-to-end conveyancing process for residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
Drafting and reviewing legal documentation related to property transactions using Microsoft Word and other Office applications.
Communicating effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth progress of transactions.
Organising and maintaining accurate case files and documentation using organisational skills and IT systems.
Monitoring transaction progress to ensure deadlines are met whilst providing regular updates to clients.
Utilising Denovo Case Management System.
Conducting title checks, searches, and liaising with relevant authorities as required.
Ensuring compliance with legal procedures and internal policies throughout each transaction.
Experience
Proven experience in residential conveyancing is essential
Strong telephone communication skills in English are essential.
Proficiency in a Legal Case management system is preferred
Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software systems quickly.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a busy legal practice environment.
