Residential conveyancing paralegal

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and client-focused Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our growing Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong conveyancing experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and reputable law firm.

Job Type

Full-time Mon-Fri, permanent, office based.

The role

Assisting Solicitors in the residential conveyancing department to manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion, under appropriate supervision. Drafting and preparing legal documents including contracts, transfers, mortgage reports, search reports, Reports on Title and completion statements Conducting property searches, reviewing title documents, and raising enquiries Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth progression of matters Preparing and handling post-completion requirements, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications Maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working in a residential conveyancing role (

essential

) A law degree (desirable) A good understanding of the conveyancing process and Land Registry/SDLT procedures Excellent communication and client care skills Ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain high levels of organisation Competent IT skills and experience with case management systems A team player with attention to detail and a proactive approach
