Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Residential Property Legal Secretary

to join our busy property team in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to support our solicitors and contribute to the smooth running of the department.

Key Responsibilities:



Providing full secretarial support to fee earners in the residential property team. Preparing, formatting, and amending correspondence and legal documents. Handling telephone calls and emails in a professional manner. Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and maintaining filing systems. Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties. Undertaking administrative tasks including photocopying, scanning, and filing. Ensuring deadlines are met and compliance procedures are followed.

About You:



Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally within residential conveyancing. Strong typing and IT skills (Microsoft Office, case management systems). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure in a busy environment. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Professional, reliable, and a team player.
