We are looking for an attentive individual to join Talbots as Paralegal in our Residential Property Department in Worcester. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6-12 months experience working within a busy residential conveyancing department.
You'll be part of a thriving team, supporting Lawyers on a range of client matters from inception through to completion such as sale, purchase, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, registered titles, unregistered titles, leasehold and freehold properties.

What the job involves:
Assist team in the conduct and management of standard conveyancing transactions such as sale, purchase, re-mortgage, transfers of equity, registered titles, unregistered titles, leasehold and freehold properties
Post completion procedures and registrations if required
Proactively take responsibility for file management i.e. updating clients, third parties, case management system and portals
Drafting registered contracts including issuing and chasing contracts as well as proof-reading system generated documentation
Update relevant software such as TM Secure and SOS and maintaining compliance requirements in line with SRA, Lexcel, Law Society Quality Scheme Standards, SARs and accounting requirements
What you need:
At least 6-12 months experience of working within a residential conveyancing department
Able to demonstrate practical knowledge of the full conveyancing process from inception to completion.
Passionate about giving outstanding client care to clients and referrers
Excellent interpersonal skills, sensitivity, tact and diplomacy
Accurate and articulate in written and spoken communication
Consistent attention to detail demonstrating accuracy with numbers and calculations
Pro-active and self-motivated with a desire to learn / progress in a career in conveyancing.
