A new opportunity has arisen within our busy progressive Horncastle Branch for a full time Residential Sales Negotiator. The successful applicant will be fully immersed in residential sales and ensure they are handled efficiently and courteously.

Overview


We are seeking a motivated and dynamic sales negotiator to join our team. In this role, you will be a key contact, responsible for facilitating viewings, obtaining feedback from viewings, negotiations between parties, processing sales and providing exceptional customer service to vendors and buyers alike, ensuring a smooth transaction process. Your ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities



Introduce yourself and maintain regular contact with vendor clients over sale. Answer enquiries via telephone, email, website or in person. Taking full details and logging onto our management software. Ensuring their enquiries are dealt with efficiently and promptly. Arrange viewings and accompany viewings. Take feedback, answer queries, take offers, negotiate sales, and progress with solicitors and other parties in any chain whilst keeping the vendor and purchaser regularly informed and management software fully up to date. Prepare correspondence and supporting documentation, including offer confirmation, sale memorandums, emails, letters, and statistics. Attend daily, weekly and monthly team and wider firm meetings and follow up matters arising. Assist in marketing properties on websites and social media. Promote the firm and our surveys, other services, and mortgage sales. Be mindful of the security around record keeping and typing up reports, thus a good sense of modern technology and software like Word, Excel and our own property software (which will be taught, with on-the-job training). Good grammar is essential in this role Liaising with other branches to maintain a fast response time with web enquiries. Maintain office displays and co-ordinate lettings lists and assist in marketing properties on websites and social media. To become proficient on Expert Agent, our management system. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the local property market trends. Helping other departments as reasonably necessary. Other duties within the skills and capacity of the job holder

Skills and Attributes



Must be able to work under pressure and to deadlines Ideally have a few years' experience in sales progressing and conveyancing process. Be confident in liaising with solicitors, vendors and buyers and seeing the sale through to completion. Must be proficient with IT software and show capabilities. Must have a problem-solving attitude and know how to put someone at their ease and give confidence, if a problem can not be solved there and then. Project a professional demeanour, be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge or persona for sales negotiation and to be confident. Have a warm relatable, calm, organised personality Like to be hands on and work within a small team, but also confident enough to work alone with efficiency and methodical approach with attention /care to detail. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple listings and client interactions efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and persuasively. Administrative proficiency for handling paperwork, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records.

Hours of Work



Monday to Friday 08:45 - 17:30 and one in three Saturday's 9am - 12noon

Salary

plus a yearly discretionary bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 25,477.20 per year
