Responsibilities
Be accountable to the Manager, Deputy Manager and Team Leaders
Assist children with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and educational support.
Safeguarding each young person at all times in line with organisation policy and procedure.
You will provide a high standard of care and support, in a professional manner, to vulnerable young people, with behaviours of concerns.
You will develop a good working relationship with both children and young people, their families and other outside agencies, and be the person that each child can trust through building positive relationships.
You will be part of a team who work together to create a loving, stable environment to ensure each young person is achieving positive outcomes and learning experiences
Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.
Drive to various locations as required for outings or appointments.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made towards goals.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care provided.
Engage children in recreational activities that promote social skills and emotional well-being.
Seep in duties
Skills and Experience
Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent - or willing to work towards
1 years' experience supporting young people in a children's residential setting or equivalent setting
Full UK Manual Driving Licence

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children and their families.
Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and reporting purposes is advantageous.
Understanding of child development principles and the ability to implement care plans effectively.
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others thrive in their environment.
