currently have opportunities for Support Workers to join our support team at our residential homes in Milford Haven and Johnston. These are small, personalised homes (a maximum of 5 and 4 residents respectively), with generous staffing levels at all times.
Experience in the health and social care sector isn't necessary as we will provide a full induction programme with ongoing training and support.
We have both Full and Part Time hours available.

Responsibilities of a Residential Support Worker:
Your role will be to support people in their daily lives, and this can include personal care of either gender to their assessed needs. Personal care may involve assisting people to take a bath or shower, going to the toilet and take or manage their own medication
Provide care and support to residents working towards outcomes and meeting goals as part of living a fulfilled life.
You will be expected to read and follow comprehensive assessments and service delivery plan
Provide input into assessments and service delivery plans
Provide support, including (but not limited to) help with personal care, budgeting, shopping, cleaning, cooking, gardening, laundry, and assistance with medication
You will also support in engaging in social activities and assisting the person to maintain relationships with family and friends and being active in their community. Trips to the theatre, Folly Farm, the cinema and lunch out with family and/or friends are regular parts of our activity programmes.
Maximise and promote everyone's independence, choice, dignity, and privacy
To provide support in all daily living activities to suit the needs and wishes of the individuals, keeping them healthy and safe

The hours of work will be covering a shift pattern so may include Bank Holidays, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and, very occasionally, waking nights.
