Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities

Assist children with daily activities and personal care as needed. Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs. Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote positive development. Facilitate communication between children, families, and other professionals involved in their care. Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents that occur during shifts. Engage children in educational and recreational activities to enhance their learning experience. Ensure a safe and supportive environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Drive to various locations as required for home visits or community activities.

Qualifications

Experience working with children is highly desirable. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children or travelling between locations. Background in childcare or related fields is advantageous. Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with children, families, and colleagues. Proficiency in IT skills for maintaining records and using relevant software applications.
