Summary
We're seeking an energetic and industry-savvy Resource Co-ordinator to lead and develop our supply chain operations, with a strong focus on expanding our sub-contractor network (labour-only and specialist). You'll work closely with our team leads and project teams to ensure a robust, reliable and competitive supply chain that supports our projects and planned growth.
This is an office-based role in Gillingham, Kent, with occasional travel to supplier or site locations as/when needed.
Responsibilities
Develop, expand and maintain a strong database of approved sub-contractors (labour-only and specialist trades). Including ensuring all sub-contractors are onboarded utilising the Primech PQQ process which will be managed through Smartsheet
Assist in sourcing, vetting and onboarding new Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) subcontractors and suppliers
Reach out confidently to potential subcontractors and labour providers via phone, email and social platforms
Build strong relationships with suppliers, sub-contractors and procurement partners across the M&E industry
Assist in leading labour procurement strategies to ensure upcoming projects are well resourced and that our team have a broad selection of opportunity
Collaborate with project and operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of labour and materials
Utilise digital tools and systems to manage supplier data, compliance documentation and procurement processes efficiently
Monitor and feedback supply chain performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Ideally have proven experience in a similar supply chain or procurement role within the M&E or construction industry
Proven time management organisational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Confident, vibrant personality with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with new contacts directly
Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Must have the ability to operate and communicate at all levels (from site to senior management)
Tech-savvy. Comfortable with procurement platforms, databases and modern communication tools. Including good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Excel/Word & Outlook)
