Job Description

Ashtead Technology have an exciting opportunity for a Resource Coordinator to support the growth of our Mechanical Solutions team in Thainstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and tracking of equipment and operational resources required to support offshore projects.

What You'll Be Doing:




Supporting project planning by aligning technical personnel, equipment, and timelines, ensuring smooth mobilisation and demobilisation for offshore operations Actively participate in project planning meetings and offshore readiness reviews Tracking and maintaining inventory of assets, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained, certified, and tested prior to deployment Maintaining accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance cycles, and inspection reports Collaborating with workshop, logistics, procurement, and offshore teams to confirm resource availability and secure timely delivery of parts, consumables, and project materials. Providing regular updates on resource status, constraints, and offshore readiness to project management and stakeholders.



What experience you'll bring:





We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive team player to support offshore projects by keeping personnel, equipment, and resources exactly where they need to be. You will also have:


Previous experience in resourcing, operations, asset coordination, or personnel logistics Proficiency in the use of ERP / asset management systems Clear communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and build strong relationships with offshore teams Excellent organisational ability to balance multiple priorities while adapting to shifting deadlines and project needs
