We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Responsible Individual to oversee our two Children's Homes, dedicated to enhancing the quality of services we provide to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties stemming from trauma or complex needs. Main Responsibilities:
Lead the management of our two children's homes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services that comply with regulatory, contractual, and company standards.
Serve as the Ofsted registered Responsible Individual for both homes.
Ensure that the homes meet all relevant legislative requirements while providing exceptional emotional and physical care in a safe and nurturing environment.
Inspire and manage a dedicated team of staff, fostering a supportive and enabling environment that offers enriching experiences for residents.
Manage the budget of both homes, ensuring financial viability and exceeding key performance indicators related to people, quality, and performance.
Demonstrate resilience, courage, and a commitment to delivering the best possible care to young people while enabling personal growth for yourself and your team.
Qualifications / Person Specification:
A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in a leadership role within a children's residential setting, particularly with children who have high care needs due to emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Strong understanding of legislation, guidance, and standards related to children's care.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a desire for personal and professional growth.
A degree or Level 5 qualification in management and leadership, or a Level 4/5 qualification in Residential Childcare.
