Responsible Individual
to oversee and support multiple children's residential homes across the South East.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you will provide strategic governance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight across multiple residential children's homes
Ensure homes comply with
Ofsted regulations
and
Children's Homes Regulations 2015
Guide and support Registered Managers to deliver high-quality, child-focused care
Lead safeguarding implementation and maintain robust practices
Oversee
Ofsted inspections
, aiming for 'Good' or 'Outstanding' outcomes
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively
Build positive relationships with local authorities, social workers, and regulatory bodies
Lead on staff development, training, and performance management
What You'll Need
Minimum
3 years' experience
in a senior leadership role within children's residential care (Required)
NVQ Level 5 Diploma
in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to obtain)
Strong working knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding legislation, and Quality Standards
Proven leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Passion for delivering outstanding care and putting children first
Full UK driving licence
(Required)
