Amber Green Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate

to oversee our

brand-new solo children's residential home in Bolton

. The home provides high-quality care and support for children and young people with

Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service, working alongside an

. The Responsible Individual will play a vital role in ensuring excellent standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance, while driving continuous improvement across the home.

This role offers flexibility, with commitment required for

4-6 days per month

.

Key Duties

Work in partnership with the Registered Manager to embed a strong safeguarding culture and uphold the highest standards of care. Act as the representative of Amber Green Care, liaising with Ofsted, local authorities, and safeguarding partnerships. Monitor and evaluate home performance, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. Conduct audits and contribute to improvement planning. Oversee recruitment, retention, supervision, and staff development. Drive quality assurance and lead on continuous service improvement. Stay up to date with changes in legislation and best practice guidance.

Experience & Skills

Proven experience working with children in a residential or childcare setting (essential). Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and reporting requirements. Understanding of care planning and ability to monitor and review effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with children, families, professionals, and Directors. Confident IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation. Full UK driving licence (essential).
