About the Role:



As our

Responsible Individual

, you will:

Provide inspirational leadership and oversight across our residential services Champion compliance, safeguarding, and high-quality care Mentor and support Registered Managers to deliver excellent outcomes Act as a key link between Lifebridge Group's leadership and frontline services
You'll play a central role in ensuring our homes are safe, supportive, and well-led -- with every child receiving the care and stability they deserve.

Key Responsibilities:



Leadership & Strategy



Provide values-led leadership across services Inspire and challenge Registered Managers to deliver exceptional care Promote a strong, child-focused organisational culture

Compliance & Regulation



Ensure full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations & Quality Standards Maintain readiness for Ofsted inspections and oversee action planning Report on performance, compliance, and safeguarding to the Board

Safeguarding



Lead safeguarding at a strategic level Embed a strong safeguarding culture throughout the workforce Oversee serious incidents and drive continuous learning

Quality Assurance



Implement and oversee quality assurance processes Ensure the voices of children and staff inform service improvements Work closely with teams to deliver improvement plans

Team Development



Coach and develop Registered Managers through supervision and mentoring Support staff wellbeing and build a strong team culture Lead succession planning and leadership development initiatives

Stakeholder Engagement



Build trusted relationships with external professionals, families, and commissioning bodies Represent Lifebridge Group at forums and stakeholder meetings Maintain transparent communication with all key partners

Service Development



Contribute to the safe and values-led growth of services Ensure all new homes meet compliance and quality expectations from the outset Identify areas for innovation and continuous improvement

About You:



Essential:



Proven senior leadership experience in children's residential care Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Strong working knowledge of Ofsted, safeguarding, and relevant legislation Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills Experience building and managing high-performing teams

Desirable:



Previous experience as a Responsible Individual or overseeing multiple services Familiarity with therapeutic or trauma-informed care approaches Involvement in the strategic development or expansion of care services
