We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Team Leader to oversee the care and support of children in a residential setting. Duties
Lead and supervise a team of childcare staff, ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained.
Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the emotional and physical well-being of all children.
Engage with children in meaningful activities that encourage personal development and social skills.
Maintain clear communication with children, families, and external agencies regarding care plans and progress.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organisational policies.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
Support staff training and development to enhance their skills in childcare practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children in a residential or similar setting is essential.
Strong understanding of childcare principles, including the development of care plans.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, families, and team members.
Proficient IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.

We are looking to open a children's home in Wolverhampton which is ready and are looking for an experienced RI to join them asap and support the opening of the children's home.
Over the next couple of years our growth plans is to have five children's homes in the West Midlands area which the RI will be involved in setting up and preparing for Ofsted.
The RI will be undertaking a flagship role within the company and your hard efforts will be rewarded!

Pay: 300.00-350.00 per day
Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
