Bunk is a vibrant cocktail bar and restaurant seeking a
flexible full-time Supervisor
to join our energetic team. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys leading others. Previous experience is preferred but not essential -- we're happy to train the right person who shows dedication, initiative, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and complete
opening and closing checks
for the bar, kitchen, and floor.
Train and induct
new bar and kitchen staff, ensuring ongoing learning and high standards.
Provide
constructive feedback
and maintain excellent service, hygiene, and teamwork.
Cash up
and complete daily reports (End of Day).
Ensure
clear communication
between staff and management.
Direct and support staff
during busy trading periods to maintain smooth operations.
Handle
basic customer complaints
in a professional manner.
Coordinate
between the kitchen, bar, and floor to manage food wait times and table turnover.
Monitor stock levels
, update purchase data, and place orders for bar and kitchen supplies.
Receive and
organise deliveries
, report and resolve any stock discrepancies.
Perform
basic bar prep
tasks and ensure readiness for service.
Operational Duties
Bar Preparation:
Arrive early to organise the venue, prepare garnishes, cut fruit, and ensure the bar and stock areas are ready for service.
Meal Presentation:
Assist the kitchen and floor teams to ensure dishes are presented correctly and served efficiently. Have a solid understanding of daily menus and specials.
Stock Management:
Help receive, rotate, and store stock safely, maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring freshness.
Cleaning & Hygiene:
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all bar, kitchen, and storage areas, including sanitising equipment and surfaces.
Bar Setup & Breakdown:
Prepare the bar for opening (lights, prep, equipment) and ensure full shutdown procedures at close (cleaning, storing, and switching off).
Skills & Qualifications
While formal qualifications aren't required, we're looking for someone who brings the following qualities:
Dependability:
Reliable, punctual, and consistent -- able to work evenings and weekends.
Physical stamina:
Comfortable working on your feet for long periods and lifting moderate loads.
Customer service:
Friendly, approachable, and professional -- creating a welcoming and safe environment for guests.
Equipment knowledge:
Confident using standard bar and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Teamwork:
Cooperative, supportive, and able to take direction while also leading others when needed.
About the Position
The Supervisor will work between the bar and the floor, ensuring smooth operations throughout service. They will oversee opening and closing duties, maintain strong communication across teams, and keep the venue running efficiently and professionally.

Pay: 29,700.00 per year
