Duties
Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Supervise and motivate staff, including bartenders and serving personnel, fostering a positive team environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes related to bar snacks or light meals, ensuring high standards of culinary presentation.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the bar.
Ensure all beverages are prepared to high-quality standards, including specialised cocktails and classic drinks.
Monitor stock levels and manage inventory control effectively.
Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring excellent hospitality at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service delivery.
Implement health and safety procedures in line with legal requirements.
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a hospitality environment, preferably in bars or restaurants.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.
Familiarity with food production processes in a hospitality setting.
Previous restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous.
Knowledge of serving techniques and hospitality best practices.
Barista experience is desirable but not essential.
Cocktail experience advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
