Job Description

As Restaurant Assistant Front of House in the Sugarloaf Restaurant you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and competent catering skills maximising the customer experience. Our experienced team will help you gain any additional skills needed for this role, as training will be ongoing.

You will be a team player and demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration with all departments.

This full-time role includes working alternate weekends, averaging 40 hours per week from 08:45 to 17:15 Monday to Saturday and 09:30 to 17:00 Sunday

Duties will include;

Support the Front of House Supervisors and Team with additional support to the Kitchen and Pot Wash areas to ensure the highest quality cuisine and service levels are achieved To create, display and present the highest quality produce Have the ability to operate front of house equipment efficiently Demonstrate good product knowledge Demonstrate a confident approach engaging with customers Provide an efficient, friendly counter and table service To become a trained barista, serving speciality coffee's Accurately operate the EPOS system and cashing up procedure Demonstrate excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues General duties as required Maintain strict compliance with Health & Safety and EHO Demonstrate compliance with all existing company systems, procedures, work practices and housekeeping

Excellent customer care skills

Ability to communicate with all levels of the business in a professional manner

Good numeracy and literacy skills

Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all products are prepared and presented to Company standards

Ability to work under pressure

Good time management and prioritisation skills

Good team worker and the ability to work independently

Willingness to learn and develop the role further

Demonstrate a flexible approach to your working day

Qualifications / experience;



Good standard of education to a minimum of GCSE level or equivalent

Experience of a catering / retail business environment beneficial

Level 2 Food Safety certificate essential (a quick online course - to be completed upon job offer)

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
