We are looking for someone to join our team within our recently refurbished restaurant in Homeleigh Truro. This role is to ensure customers' expectations of all food, beverages and customer service are exceeded. This may include, but not limited to any aspect of the restaurant operation including service, food preparation, equipment, facilities, cleaning, health and safety, along with any other reasonable task to be undertaken.
Key Responsibilities
To provide hospitality to all users of the restaurant.
To be an active and supportive team member, contributing in a constructive manner and treating all team members and customers with fairness and courtesy.
To work in a way that is consistent with the Company's vision.
To provide excellent customer service, serving customers promptly, courteously and with a smile.
Ensuring that food and drink served to customers is of a consistently high standard and is well presented.
To develop knowledge of products and share that knowledge with the team
Maintain a clean & tidy environment in the restaurant and preparation areas including washing up.
To assist in the set up, set down and cleaning of the restaurant and kitchen according to procedure on a daily basis and as required.
To assist the Line Manager with the preparation of food and customer orders.
To be responsible for the cash handling processes within the restaurant.
Undertakes regular administrative tasks where necessary
Carries out other tasks as required by the Department Manager, General Manager, in line with the overall purpose of the post and the nature of Homeleigh Garden Centre.
Health and Fire Safety
To fully comply with all Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations and compliance of Company Health & Safety Procedures at all times.

Person Specification
Willing to work flexible hours as weekend work and bank holiday work will be included.
