We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager for our Indian Restaurant to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food production.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting culinary excellence.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of hospitality at all times.
Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance.
Prepare reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills.
Culinary experience (preferred in Indian Cuisines) with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on developing staff potential.
Previous experience in food production or kitchen operations is essential.
Familiarity with barista duties is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
