Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, and maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests. You will play a crucial role in team management and leadership while fostering a collaborative environment among staff.
Duties
Assist in supervising restaurant staff, including training and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Help manage daily operations, ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly and efficiently.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food preparation meets quality and safety standards.
Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations.
Implement food safety protocols to guarantee compliance with health regulations.
Support the Restaurant Manager in developing staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
Assist in managing financial aspects of the restaurant, including cash handling and reporting.
Skills
Proven experience in supervising or managing a team within a hospitality or culinary environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous.
Familiarity with bartending practices is beneficial for assisting during busy service periods.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
A solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices within the hospitality industry.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
