We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the launch & operation of our new Pan-Asian restaurant & bar opening in mid July. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary management, ensuring that our restaurant delivers exceptional service and maintains high standards of food safety. You will be responsible for supervising staff, managing kitchen operations, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Open five days a week, the role guarantees two days per week off work.
Duties
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development.
Supervise kitchen activities, including food safety management, to maintain quality standards.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and hospitality.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, resolving issues promptly to enhance guest experience.
Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee cleanliness and organisation of the venue, including dining areas and kitchen facilities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Experience of working with take out systems & pre orders advantageous
Passion & experience with/for Pan-Asian food & culture preferred.
Experience managing events, from weddings & corporate to live music nights.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Proficiency in bartending is advantageous, along with an understanding of kitchen management.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
